Sport

Star of the Sea College encourages all students to be involved in a range of curricular and co-curricular sporting activities throughout the school year. We recognise the importance of physical activity in the development of young people and aim to promote the positive outcomes of improved wellbeing by connecting our students through our diversity of sports program.

Sport Choices

Students are exposed to a range of team sports, individual competitions, and recreational activities that assist in developing confidence, healthy habits, and leadership skills. We have an extensive range of sport choices at Star that cater to a variety of interest and ability levels, including:

We have a strong sporting history at Star of the Sea College – one that is continually driven today by our Sports Captains and their student leadership team. Sport challenges our students to learn and develop essential skills for their future success, including self-discipline, team dedication, leadership and responsibility.

Trials are normally before school at 7.30am, lunchtime or after school 3.30pm to 5.00pm, and signups are completed through a form emailed to students by the Head of Sport.

House Sport
