More about our guest speaker Lisa:
Lisa Gibbs (Ridgeway) finished her schooling at Star in 1983 and is now an Associate Professor and Director of the Jack Brockhoff Child Health and Wellbeing Program at the University of Melbourne.
She also leads the Community Resilience and Public Health Unit in the Centre for Disaster Management and Public Safety.
In her spare time, she writes children’s fiction books with her sister Bern Hellard (Ridgeway, 1979 past student) including the recent Netball Gems series.
